post2“I’m usually too restless to sit in one place and WATCH an entire movie unless it’s really good or comes highly recommended. This means I miss a lot of cinema I could like because I just don’t have the patience to experiment. Because LTP offers more than just the movie, I’ve ended up watching films here I wouldn’t even consider! Plus the relaxed, quirky ambience puts you at ease straight away. It’s an awesome option for date night, or even a group hangout scene minus the general din encountered at other spots. Also 7th floor open-air terrace + Pune weather = a no brainer for a great evening out! ”

review1-compressor“I started visiting Lost The Plot (LTP) for late night movies after work during the middle of the week. It was a refreshing change to wine from coke and watching films under stars on a comfortable couch – if you can imagine it then, yes it is a utopian space in the middle of the city.”
“Today it is a vibrant space to experiment, interact and create. Nikita, the young woman who started the concept, has grown Lost The Plot to a single-venue, multi-purpose cultural center which has a community involving cinema, music, dance, poetry and much more. ”

post2“LTP has changed the way we watch films forever. I’ve always sought an open air cinema in Pune that indulges the non-commercial movie space. I’d credit LTP for some of the nicest films I’ve watched, which would have otherwise been unknown to me. Making the experience even more enriching, screenings are often followed by the director and cast talking about the film in an informal and intimate setting.”
“Food is amazing and just the right portion size for eating while watching films. And of course, beer is welcome always.”

post2 “When I need a relaxing mid-week treat, I usually head to LTP, especially on the World Cinema nights. Its so rare in Pune to get a chance to watch those films and the best part is that you get to do this overlooking the city, with the breeze in your hair and a glass of wine in your hand. I’ve also discovered the Open Mic night recently and will definitely be coming back for more of it.”
